Niche, a ranking and review website that focuses on college and high schools — namely with rankings for top schools based on academics — has shifted gears and turned its spotlight on sports.
Niche has ranked the top sports programs at the high school level.
Quite a few of those highly ranked, were bolstered by their boys and girls lacrosse programs.
In the New York state rankings, defending Class B boys lax champ Victor earned the No. 1 ranking.
Lacrosse powers Garden City (No. 2), Manhasset (No. 3) and Yorktown (No. 5), Rye (No. 8) and Bronxville (No. 10) were close behind.
You can access the full NY rankings here.
There was a similar trend in Connecticut, with two-time state boys lax champ Darien at No. 3. Lax powers Ridgefield (No. 6), New Canaan (No. 7) and Wilton (No. 9) also made the Top 10.
You can access the full CT rankings here.
Turning to New Jersey, a school synonymous with lacrosse success, Summit, finished No. 1 overall.
Lax power Ridgewood also made the Top 10.
