New York City’s top high school senior boys and girls lacrosse players from the City’s public (PSAL), Catholic (CHSAA) and independent high schools will compete for the title of “Best in the City” at the 2015NYC Mayor’s Cup Lacrosse All-Star Games on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31.

The girls and boys championship games will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. All games will be played at Poly Prep Country Day School in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn and admission is free.

The NYC Mayor’s Cup will feature several NCAA Division I signees, including Dylan DeMuro (Archbishop Stepinac/Manhattan College), Will Randell (Fordham Prep/Dartmouth) Sam Welch (Hackley/Cornell), Samantha Caruselle (Tottenville/Iona College), Grace Bell (Poly Prep/Vanderbilt), Julia Massaro (Rye Country Day/Stanford) and Zoe Verni (Rye Country Day/Brown). mayorscupThe NYC Mayor’s Cup All-Star Games that will take place in June include softball on June 12, baseball on June 14 and cricket on June 20.

The 2014–15 NYC Mayor’s Cup season encompasses 10 sporting events throughout the year and is produced by NYC & Company, the City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization. The series showcases student athletes of all ages from across the five boroughs as they compete to prove they are New York City’s best at baseball, basketball, chess, cricket, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, track & field and wrestling.
