VOTE NOW!

Who was the best varsity boys lacrosse player in the nation’s No. 1 hotbed for lacrosse in 2017?

We’re halfway to finalizing our Final Four nominees.

We’ve concluded polls in Connecticut and Long Island, with winners decided there.

Attackman Christian Paley of two-time state champ Somers, the No. 2 all-time leading scorer in Connecticut history, will represent the Nutmeg State. Paley, a senior, is headed to the University of Hartford.

Johns Hopkins-bound attackman Connor DeSimone, a senior on Suffolk County finalist Smithtown East, will represent Long Island. DeSimone finished this past season with 60 goals and 54 assists for 114 points (second on the Island).

We’ll round out the four finalists with 24-hour polls for Hudson Valley and New Jersey, starting today with the Hudson Valley.

The four winners from each poll will then be paired off in a final 24-hour poll for player of the year on Monday.

So vote right here, right now, for the Hudson Valley POY.

Please note, Twitter polls allow just four choices. You can cast a write-in vote by clicking on “Reply” below. Write-in votes count the same as regular votes.
