BBP signing

It won’t be long now.

National Letter of Intent Fall Signing Week will be getting under way right after Election Day, in fact.

This year’s fall period starts Wednesday, Nov. 9 and lasts through Wednesday, Nov. 16.

As always, we will be providing in-depth coverage of this once-in-a-lifetime moment for so many throughout the nation’s No. 1 hotspot for lacrosse, the NY/NJ/CT tristate region, and the entire lax galaxy.

NLIs must be attached to athletic scholarships, so committed players to Division I programs that do not award athletic scholarships (such as the Ivy League and military academies), as well as committed players to Division III programs, do not sign NLIs to make their verbal commitments binding.

But plenty will be doing precisely that from Nov. 9-16. Nearly all of those commitments have been previously reported here, of course. That does not take away from the excitement on display when student-athletes take a few seconds that, in effect, signals a new chapter in their lives.

So be sure to send us your signing week photos to info@laxlessons.com or directly to Joe Lombardi at joe@laxlessons.com. You may also Tweet them to us @LaxLessons or @Joe_Lombardi.
