On the first Gameday Saturday for high school action in the nation’s No. 1 hotspot for lacrosse, the NY/NJ/CT region, there also plenty of college action both inside and beyond the tristate.

The slate is anchored by the renewal of the biggest rivalry in Division I lacrosse, a collision of the sport’s winningest programs as Johns Hopkins hosts Syracuse.

No. 1-ranked Rochester Institute of Technology and and Western New England University will be meeting at a neutral site in the nation’s No. 1 hotspot for lacrosse, the NY/NJ/CT tristate region: Iona College in New Rochelle (N.Y.).
