The Capital Challenge, a three-day showcase for boys players graduating in the classes of 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 will be returning to the University at Albany July 18-20.
“Capital Challenge’s inaugural year was last summer and we had over 250 players from across the United States and Canada attend,” United Director Steve Carcaterra said. “There were also college coaches from all over the country.”
Carcaterra said UAlbany’s central location is a perfect fit for the showcase.
“It provides a playing experience like no other with all fields centrally located and in impeccable condition,” he said. “Not only did players receive well-deserved exposure, but they also got top-notch lacrosse instruction from college coaches on the Capital Challenge staff.
“Our 2014 registration is looking great and United Lacrosse’s vision for both a recruiting and teaching experience like no other has never been clearer.”
