From press release

PRINCETON, N.J. – Cornell and Yale are two of seven remaining unbeaten teams nationally as week three of Ivy League men’s lacrosse cranks up.

The Big Red moved to 3-0 with a pair of wins last week, while Yale held on to beat Bryant and move to 2-0. Cornell topped backyard-rival Binghamton on Tuesday and then went to Ann Arbor and beat Michigan in overtime.

However, it was Penn that had the biggest win of the weekend. The then No. 20-ranked Quakers hosted sixth-ranked Denver on Saturday and came away with a 12-10 win.

Friday and Saturday will see two more big nonconference showdowns involving Ivies. Princeton entertains North Carolina on Friday evening in a game that will be televised by ESPNU. Also, Cornell gets its first big test of the 2014 season when it hosts Virginia on Saturday. That game will be streamed live on The Ivy League® Digital Network. This week, three games will be shown on the League’s new home for live coverage from around the Ancient Eight.

In addition, Penn’s game at Villanova on Saturday night will be shown in Fox College Sports-Atlantic.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Cornell junior attack Matt Donovan (Morristown, N.J.) scored eight goals in two wins for The Big Red last week. Donovan had three tallies in a 14-8 win over backyard-rival Binghamton on Tuesday. He followed that up be finding the net five times in Saturday’s thrilling 15-14 win over Michigan, including the game-winner with 1:41 left in the first overtime.

Donovan leads the Ivy League in points with 14 (11g, 3a).
