CHSAA (NY) power Chaminade led the tristate with 24 2017 commits. Above, that group joins the 35 Chaminade student-athletes from all sports who will be playing in college.

Fall National Signing Week, which began last Wednesday, Nov. 9, is now one for the books, having wrapped up Wednesday, Nov. 16.

National Letters of Intent must be attached to athletic scholarships, so committed players to Division I programs that do not award athletic scholarships (such as the Ivy League and military academies), as well as committed players to Division III programs, do not sign NLIs to make their verbal commitments binding.

But plenty did precisely that this past week. Nearly all of those commitments have been previously reported here, of course. That does not take away from the excitement on display when student-athletes take a few seconds that, in effect, signals a new chapter in their lives.

Now, here’s a complete rundown of Class of 2017 tristate commitments, including Divisions II and III (as well as Division I) by high school or prep school.
