When it comes to his own family, Lucas Quinn is part of the crowd.

After all, both his older brothers play Division I college lacrosse at the University of Hartford, where his oldest brother, John, is a senior defender and middle brother, Evan, is a freshman goaltender.

The Quinns’ father played lacrosse at Whitesboro (N.Y.) High School.

But when it comes to Syracuse University’s Class of 2017 commits, Lucas Quinn stands alone.

Quinn became Syracuse’s first 2017 commit when he verballed to the Orange last week, as reported by Joe Lombardi on’s Lacrosse Insider premium coverage section.

The 5-foot-8, 180-pound Quinn is an athletic and hard-nosed righty who uses his quickness, field vision and skills to make plays.
