In the photo on the top of the page, four members of the Hen Hud (N.Y.) senior class have committed to play the sport at the next level.  Head coach, Craig Solomon, far right, and assistant coach Jordan Hirsch are pictured here with the four seniors, from left: Brett Dalton (SUNY Cortland), Joe Fraietta (SUNY Stony Brook), Matt Ledwin (Johns Hopkins) and Kevin McDermott (Salisbury University).

“This is a great day for the Hen Hud lacrosse team,” Solomon said. “I am proud of these young men.  They have continued to work very hard and their hard work has rewarded them with this.  I am very excited to follow these young men in their college careers.”

Hen Hud Athletic Director, Tom Baker, was also proud of the players.

“All of them are great role models for our younger generation,” Baker said. ” All of them will be missed in several areas as all of them are successful multi-sport athletes here at Hen Hud.

“Brett and Matt also play ice hockey, Joe plays football and Kevin wrestles.  Not only are all of them successful lacrosse players, but also in the other sports as well.  Hen Hud is very proud of our athletes that move on to play in college, and these four young men will continue to make Hen Hud proud in the future.”
