Here are recaps of Wednesday’s nights all-star games at the sixth annual Maverik Showtime National Lacrosse Recruiting Spotlight at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.

Class of 2015

Fastest shot competition winner (halftime contest): Duke University commit and Niskayuna (N.Y.) midfielder John Prendergast hit 100 mph on one of his two attempts from 20 yards out. Other finalists: Riley O’Sullivan (Don Bosco Prep, N.J.), Brian Willetts (Smithtown East, N.Y.).

Leading goal scorers: Team Maverik – Packer 4, Bryan Smyth (Westminster, Conn.) 2, Nigel Andrews (Deerfield Academy, Mass.) 2, Cullen Morgan (Fox Lane, N.Y.), Colin Minicus (Darien, Conn.), Kevin Quigley (Ridge, N.J.). Team Cascade – Matt Gavin  (Manhasset, N.Y.) 2, Travis Ford (Webster Thomas, N.Y.) 2, Ryan Tierney (Massapequa, N.Y.), Matt Manown (La Salle Academy, Pa.), Henry Adams (Cherry Creek, Colo.), Christian Ford (Bishop’s School, Calif.), Michael Guerin (Kent School, Conn.).

    Joe Lombardi on PA was tremendous and really added alot to the games.
