Just two years after winning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship and advancing to the NCAA tournament, and just a year after playing Johns Hopkins to an overtime game at Homewood Field, the Siena Saints  continue to show they’re a program on the rise.

Siena head coach Brian Brecht, a former varsity assistant at Yorktown, has done it by landing commitments from four highly regarded Hudson Valley seniors.

Among them is a returning all-American Conor Prunty of Lakeland/Panas. Above, Prunty signs his National Letter of Intent today surrounded by family and L/P head coach Jim Lindsay (far left).

“It feels great to finally make it officiaal,” Prunty told me. “It’s been a pleasure being recruited by Coach Brecht and the Siena lacrosse family and I’m very excited to start playing up there.”

National Letter of Intent Signing Week started Wednesday, Nov. 10 and runs through Wednesday, Nov. 17.
