    Milestone alert –

Hey gang. A week ago today at this time, we alerted you that Yorktown’s Kevin Interlicchio needed one goal vs. Ward Melville to reach 100 for his career.

Today, we have another milestone possibility involving Yorktown’s Saturday game.

If Darien wins, Blue Wave coach Jeff Brameier will pick up his 400th varsity victory.

Be sure to check the main body of this post for updates, and also post any scores/news/info of your own throughout the day here in the comments portion.

anyone with an update of the jj game?

  9. off the bench says:

Way to go “Town”! Isn’t Brunelle a long pole? Good for him!

  10. LAX says:

JJ’s apparently losing 3-11 end of 1st half, goals by Beck, Morris, Weil. Scary score but I don’t think anyone expected this to be close, St. Anthony’s is looking awesome after beating Delbarton.

  11. LAX says:

    Towns winning 7-5

  12. western says:

    town update?

  13. Joe Lombardi says:

Tom Casey scores to give Yorktown a 9-5 lead with 3:16 remaining in the fourth quarter. Remember to check the main body of this post for more info.

Guys, I added a ton of scores to this post, up above in the body.

  20. LAX says:

Wow 4-0 PV so far in second.

  21. Joe Lombardi says:

After falling behind 5-0, Rye has gone on a 4-0 run and has pulled within 5-4 on a goal by Neil Davis with 4:26 to go in the second quarter. Timeout PV. I’ll have an update at the half in the main body of this post.

  22. freelaxer says:

    St. A’s- 12
    Jay- 5

Jay was playing without stewart, Pickel who hurt his groin, and Walter who hurt arm early in first quarter. St A’s offense was very explosive.

  23. solidD says:

    Final: St. A’s 12
    JJ- 5
Pickel sat out the game with hurt groin and walter hurt what looked like his forearm middle of the first quarter.
    Goals for jj:
    Beck
    J. Morris
    Weil
    B. Morris
    Daniello

  24. Indian J says:

Pickel is hurt too? And Walter ? Can anything else go wrong? Can we get an update on who will be playing on Tuesday vs. Lakeland? This is a little unnerving.

  25. Defense wins championships says:

    joe

pv rye whats going on great game by town

  26. LAX says:

Wow JJ was playing without 3 of their best players? Any word on how Pickel and Walter are doing???

  27. LAX says:

PVs winning 7-5 at the half. They were winning 5-0 before Rye went on a 4-0 run.

  28. freelaxer says:

Pickel hurt his groin last week then tweaked it in practice yesterday, and Walter did something to his arm early in the game. If all goes well they should be back by tuesday, but not positive. Stewart is looking doubtful for L/P game.

  29. LAX says:

And also will Stewart be back for the L/P game? Walter is their leading goal scorer, Pickel their best defender, and Stewart their best all-around player. They’ll need em for tuesday.

  30. ripo says:

    guiderland v lakeland score please

  31. flaxseed says:

    guilderland vs lakeland/panas anyone?

  32. hatin says:

    Does Lakeland exist fellas?

  33. a fan says:

    Guilderland beat L/P 15/10

  34. SWLAX says:

    PV Rye????

  35. SWLAX says:

Never mind, saw it in the body…

  36. SWLAX says:

    Never mind…

  37. Dee-up says:

i guess its time to take the boys from the Valley for real ?

  38. ripo says:

    where are the somers updates???

  39. ripo says:

who is in goal for somers?

  40. slacrosse says:

    Dee-up

    I agree.

  41. slacrosse says:

    Good win Town!

Town really distributed the ball more evenly and seemed to be overall more patient for the good shot on O, rather then ISOing it alot. There were just a few times I think when someone got double teamed and then stuck vs dishing the ball out to open man as the DT started to develop.

  42. james says:

    Ridgefield Somers final?

  43. Re-LAX-N says:

Well a Nice win by TOWN today. I would like to have seen them control the game a bit more in 2nd half, but all in all a Quality W. It was nice to see Brunelle get his first goal.I think he is a bit Under rated.r Who knows if he keeps his level of play up, he could be an AA as well. But entire D played well. I sat next to CHAMINADE coach but he would not give any information about his thoughts of game. Town CHAMINADE in a few weeks shoud be a great game. Strap in boys this is gonna be fun

  44. old growth says:

17 to 9 Ridgefield…Somers never got closer than 5 in the second half. Ridgefield went to sleep a bit in the 3rd quarter but then turned it on and ran away with it. Without some outstanding goaltending by Somers, Ridgefield would have scored 25.

  45. Brooklyn says:

    Ridgefield 17 Somers 9

  46. Joe Lombardi says:

You can check the final stat leaders on the Ridgefield-Somers game in the main body.
