Quinnipiac University has emerged as one of the leading colleges when it comes to landing tristate verbal commitments.

The Bobcats hit the No. 7 mark earlier this week with their latest verbal, which marks their first for the Class of 2015. (For college-by-college commitments rundown links for the classes of 2014, ’15 and ’16, scroll to the bottom of this story.)

Rising junior left-handed attackman Connor Hulme of Canandaigua Academy in upstate New York is the latest Bobcat commit, a commitment first reported when it was made by Joe Lombardi on LaxLessons.com’s Lacrosse Insider special coverage section.

He becomes the second Canandaigua attackman to commit to QU, joining 2014 standout Brian Feldman, who is also a lefty, and Canandaigua’s second Class of 2015 commit, along with defender Mike McClain (Penn State).

The 5-foot-10 Hulme is a finisher with a quick release and hard shot who enjoys playing a physical style of play. He scored 27 goals and added eight assists last year this past season. He played travel lacrosse with the Upstate Sweetlax 2015 team last fall and summer.
