Massapequa’s college-bound corp of seniors is growing.

The Chiefs, who won the Nassau County Class A title last season, no have six Class of 2014 commits.

The latest came from Matt Caracappa, who has decided on Sacred Heart University. Caracappa’s verbal was first reported when it was made on Aug. 3 by Joe Lombardi on LaxLessons.com’s “Lacrosse Insider” section.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Caracappa, a lefty, is a rangy defenseman/longstick midfielder.recruiting_updateNow, here’s a Q&A with Matt on his commitment.

What were the main factors in your decision?
The main factors in my decision were the education side as well as price and location.

What other schools were you considering and what schools did you visit?
I also visited Boston University, Siena University, Cortland and Binghamton

How did you get introduced to lacrosse and what other sports have you played?
I was introduced to lacrosse by some of my really good friends playing since they were little. I also grew up playing football and basketball.

Any final thoughts?
I want to thank my family and coaching staff for always supporting me.
