Lafayette College has been making major recruiting strides among tristate standouts.

We’ll be spotlighting two Lafayette-bound Class of 2014 standouts – one from New York (Chaminade attackman James Roberts) and one from New Jersey (Delbarton midfielder Will McCarthy).

We begin with McCarthy, whose verbal was first reported when it was made on Aug. 2 by Joe Lombardi on LaxLessons.com’s Lacrosse Insider section.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound McCarthy is a righty with ideal size with good field vision and a high lacrosse IQ.
