Long Island squads will dip their toe in the water that is the 2013 preseason for the first time with a full slate of scrimmages today.

LL_Game-Day-CROPPED16The schedule is highlighted by 3:30 p.m. encounter between host Smithtown East and Shoreham-Wading River and a 4 p.m. matchup between visiting Syosset and West Islip.

Also today at 3:30, Smithtown West hosts Sayville, Patchogue-Medford visits Bayport-Blue Point, Half Hollow Hills East hosts Harborfield and Rocky Point visits Sachem East.

At 4 p.m., Sachem North visits Eastport/South Manor, Comsewogue hosts William Floyd and Hauppauge plays at Miller Place.

Half Hollow Hills West travels to Lindenjurst at 4:30 p.m. and Walt Whitman hosts Kings Park at 4:45 p.m.
