  2. IndianChief45 says:

Should be a fun season. Best wishes to you Anthony!

  3. Laximus says:

Pac-LP game should be very interesting as usual. Who does everything think will be the favorite going in?

  4. Laximus says:

Nice job Anthony. Have a great season.

  5. HV Lax says:

    Pac 8, LP 7. I rate it a tossup.

  6. West Lax says:

Big kid comes at you with power, a little bit like a young Ranagan. He makes Mahopac a contender. My Westchester/Rockland/Putnam and the Catholic schools:

    1. Yorktown
    2. Suffern
    3. John Jay
    4. Mahopac
    5. Somers
    6. Arlington
    7. Lakeland/Panas
    8. Iona prep.
    9. Bronxville
    10. Pelham/Rye

I disagree but only slightly. suffern and arlington are too high. no love for rye?

    Rye

    C
    Bville
    HenHud
    Byrum Hills
    Put Valley

I’d like to hear more from the person who ranked Suffern #2 in the section?

    • Question says:

I’m pretty sure that it is someone associated with Suffern, like a player or former player. wouldn’t be a shocker. the suffern players have a history of chatting up the message boards but not doing a whole on the field.

      • West Lax says:

Not from Suffern lower Westchester. I have been watching Suffern last 3 years and I believe this will be their year to contend. McNally should be an AA, Sharp was only a freshman last year. Dgheim top pole? IMO I think they surprise a few of you doubters. Its all in fun in January well see come mid March and revisit my list. Looking forward to the 2012 season.

  9. Rock Lax says:

Wonder if Suffern’s “Wall Ball Ballers” will be back — and on the blog this spring??

  10. CardinalRed says:

Suffern had their chance last season and let it slip. McNally is a stud but they lack depth, as P&G noted. Sharp is a solid attackman but can’t handle the load by himself…He’s a senior btw. They lost a ton from last year, including three good defensemen and their goalie.

They won’t match up against any of the better teams across the river. I wouldn’t be shocked to see them slip up in Rockland against Clarkstown South or a very young but very athletic North Rockland.

    • Lax says:

I strongly think north rockland can win the county they bring back a lot of key players and have some young kids that will step up for them

  11. lax on says:

excited for this LP Pac matchup, feel like both are going to be totally different teams than last year with who they graduated.

  12. laxer says:

Feel like with all the players Mahopac, L/P, and Suffern graduated, there’s far too many unknowns going into the season. At this point you’d have to ask yourself which program has the best coach that will be able to rebuild their program into a contender again this year. Personally, based on his track record and the consistency over the past 5 years, I’d probably give the edge to L/P with Lindsay.

    • laxage says:

Have to give slight edge to L/P. Like the coaching, Monty at faceoff and help from lagerre, prunty, and that good young goalie.
