Major League Lacrosse showed that, other than lightning, the sport can be played in just about the worst weather conditions imaginable.

With the effects of Hurricane Irene in full force, Boston and Hamilton won their semifinal games today at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.

The teams will meet for the title at 3 p.m. on Sunday in Annapolis. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

Top-seeded Boston defeated No. 4 Chesapeake 14-13. For more on the game, click here. Chesapeake was the defending MLL champion.

No. 3 Hamilton downed No. 2 Denver 11-9 in the other semifinal. For more on that game, click here.
