West Islip stars Nicky Galasso and Andrew Hodgson each had one goal and one assist tonight to help the North team defeat the South 17-12 in the  fifth annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium.

For the Towson-bound Hodgson, the game provided an opportunity to play on his future home college field. Galasso, who became the all-time leading scorer in Long Island history this past season, is headed to North Carolina.

The game was broadcast live on ESPNU.

University of Virginia-bound midfielder Mark Cockerton of Ontario, Canada, led the North team with four goals. University at Albany-bound Miles Thompson had three goals.

The South was led by the three-goal, one-assist effort of Jordan Wolf, an attackman from Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania bound for defending national champion Duke. Ohio State-bound Tyler Frederick and Notre Dame-bound Jimmy Marlatt each had two goals.
