Congrats to all. Thanks for posting the complete rosters Joe and great job getting the scoop on this last week.

  2. SirLaxalot says:

Impressive list. Just for fun if we had to pick a consensus #1 player who would it be? Perhaps John Greeley? Thoughts?

  3. Laximus says:

Good question Laxalot. In terms of complete players I’d have to go with JoJo. Hey that rhymes. In all seriousness I can’t imagine anyone having his combination of stick skills and athleticism.

  4. LionsDen says:

The best player in the country is Nicholas Galasso. But since he’s a junior I will pick a senior for you. Just so happens to be a UNC recruit as well. I’m talking about midfielder Ian Braddish.

  5. Taz says:

Impossible to pick one. Too many variables. I think Braddish has huge upside @ UNC – fast as lighting and a tall lanky frame that will fill out there but there’s no way to say he’s the best right now. I’d need to see Greeley against better competition – Lafayette has a very easy schedule and he did not play well in the Empire tournament, or at least in the games I saw. I go back to my original comment – impossible to pick 1 player.

  6. LIGuy says:

Thanks for your unbiased opinion Lion’s Den. Hah.

Braddish is a nice player but when.it comes to all around game the best I’ve seen this year is Frocaro (sp?) From Port.

  7. WhaleBelt says:

Frocarro is a hoss beast and will do big things at PTON

  8. Taz says:

Froccaro a perfect fit for Princeton’s controlled offense where faceoffs are key
    Bradish I mentioned above
English may be the best pure shooter I have seen @ HS level which fits UVA to a tee
Murphy the best athlete of them all

  9. Husker Nation says:

Biggest upside? Athletism? Fennessy from Town without question. All state football stud picked up a stick 1st time at 14! are u F-ing kidding me? Ask LI all time goal scorer Cohen from Syosset what he thinks after 23 ate him for lunch at last years state semis

  10. taz says:

Husker – My comments were regarding LI players only (which I thought was obvious).

But you are starting to sound like a parent! 😉

  11. Husker Nation says:

Taz- I dont care what your comments are. I’m just making mine. I’ve never met the young man and i have no kids (that i know of). Towson got a BEAST

  12. towncaller says:

Congrats to all these hard working student atheletes! You’ve done all your supporters proud. While I do not know them personally, I’ve seen Fenn a few times and see him as quite a wonderful young man, from a great family.

Yorktown HS graduation is the same day at the Under-Armour game. Ranagan & Fenn will both miss their graduation to attend the game. As neither one of them are my kids, I am curious as to what people think is the better event to attend. I know this is a lax sight but I am hoping y’all will keep it real and think about the boys when answering.

  15. laxtacular says:

I would go to the game…high school graduation just isn’t that big of a deal compared to this kind of opportunity (seriously graduating high school isn’t too challenging).
