It’s a light Monday on the schedule — one that could become even lighter if the rain projected for later today throughout the region winds up being as heavy as expected.

In Fairfield, Norwalk faces Danbury in a 4:30 p.m. game at Danbury High School Stadium.

Long Island action includes a 4 p.m. game between host Islip and Mount Sinai and a 4.30 p.m. contest between visiting Glenn and Rocky Point.

Among the six games in Section 1, Pleasantville plays at Nyack and Rockland rivals Pearl River and Tappan Zee meet at Tappan Zee. Both games are at 4:30 p.m.
