Are you ready for a brand spanking new week of action as the regular season hits the midway point.

Predictions:

Rocky Point 11, Westhampton 5

    Some sad news.

Former Greeley coach Kevin Kuczma just informed me that Dr. Edward Habermann, who had been a fixture with the Quakers’ program for more than 10 years, died.

Dr. Habermann, who was an orthopedic surgeon, donated his time as a volunteer coach with both the boys lax and soccer teams at Greeley.

He had a big impact on the lives of many players, parents and coaches through the years.

On behalf of the entire lacrosse community, I want to extend deepest sympathies to Dr. Habermann’s family.

    Joe,

I saw an elderly guy with HG at the recent Town and IP game on the sidelines. Is this the same guy??

Geez, whether or not, sympathies to the family.

I’m not sure based just on that description, but yes indeed, sympathies to the family.
