With two-time New York Class C state champ Manhasset moving up to Class B, Cold Spring Harbor has quite an opportunity.
The Seahawks fell to Set 7-5 each of the last two years in the Nassau County championship game.
Now though, that roadblock in orange-and-blue uniforms no longer exists.
Will CSH make the most of the opportunity?
We’ll get a better idea shortly. The Seahawks open the season with a road game today against South Side at Skelos Field.
Here’s what’s on today’s schedule, weather permitting, of course:
Cold Spring Harbor at South Side at Skelos Field, 4:15 p.m.
West Hempstead at Hempstead at Lincoln Park, 5 p.m.
In a scrimmage of note, Shoreham-Wading River visits Ward Melville at 3:30 p.m.
