  1. LacrosseInsider says:

Joe – I believe that the JJ/Hed Hud game is at 7PM. At 4:30 the JJ Girls varsity takes on Yorktown at JJ.

  2. Joe Lombardi says:

    Right you are, Lacrosse Insider.

Hen Hud at John Jay is at 7. The only Section 1 playoff game tomorrow not at 4:30 p.m. is Somers at Scarsdale, which is a 4:45 p.m. start.

  3. Old Rugger says:

I’m liking the lower seeds in Class B section 1 except Hen Hud
I’ll take JJ, HG, Brewster and Somers (They all play tougher schedules)
IMHO the 2 best games will be Pac vs.White Plains and Byram Hills vs. Bronxville (I’ll take Pac and Hills by one goal)

  4. Jaybird says:

Hen Hud will be up for this one. They are well coached and play good defense. They’re also a postseason regular. JJ should win but it won’t be easy.

  5. green alum says:

Take WP by two goals–Magee plays like he can; lackluster Pac O falls to a pumped and long forgotten WP team. One Shot Pac needs more than one shot. If they pull it off look for Okie to be the man at QB.

Arlington will give Suffern a scare and could do it–smart coaching staff has surprised all of us so far.

Town by alot and LP by alot.

  6. Laximus says:

    Section One Quarterfinal predictions:

    A…

    LP 15, Cl South 3
    Pac 11, White Plains 8
    Suffern 9, Arlington 5
    Town 15, Wappingers 4

    B …

    Greeley 10, Ossining 3
    Brewster 9, Mamo 4
    Somers 8, Scarsdale 5
    JJ 10, Hen Hud 4

    C …

    Rye 9, Pelham 5
    Bronxville 10, Byram Hills 6
    Put Valley 9, Sleepy 3
    Pville 10, N. Salem 4

  7. D=PAC says:

    green alum

Agree, Pac has to stop Mcgee. Even if he does get his share of goals, Pac’s O is better, as long as they all show up. If the O that showed up for Suffern takes the field, it will be a long night. But, I don’t think that will be the case. They still have a pit in their stomachs and I think they will be relentless.

  8. South of 287 says:

    Laximus,
Mamo wins at Brewster in the reg season but will lose at home in playoffs – not saying Mamo is a lock as they need to get O from Mids and D has to play smart, but see Mamo winning a close low scoring game.

  9. LAXFAN says:

I think Somers and Jay win in blowouts…
Greeley over Ossining (rooting for the Indians in this one)
Brewster vs Mamaroneck? I have a feeling this is gonna be a real good game.

  10. Lax123 says:

    DPac
Pacs O was not the only problem against Suffern.Lack of picking up ground balls by long poles ans short pole alike attributed to poor play.O had ten goals which in a good defensive game should stand up. Everyone should be held accounted for in that game.all will be forgotten if they play hard and win today.heard that Parillo is returning to lineup which should boost the close D. No turnovers and just plain solid lax will take them deep into the tournament.Their offense is one of the best in the section with 5 or six big time scorers.Good Luck Boys
