You’d be hard-pressed to find a better two-way midfielder in the Hudson Valley/Long Island/Connecticut region than Greg D’Arienzo.

What have you been doing to get ready for the season?
I played basketball to help keep me in shape during the offseason.  I also went to lacrosse team conditioning and did stickwork outside on the cage.

Can you talk about some of the key players you lost from last year and how you think you will be able to replace them?
Last year, we had a strong defense led by senior Sal Cerami. His absence will be felt, but junior Guiliano Bove will step up and take on that role.

What regular-season games are you most looking forward to?
Each year I look forward to the Garden City games in both football and lacrosse. Also, the Wantagh game should be a good one.

What players on your team do you think will surprise some people this season?
Senior attackman Mike Tripodi will have a breakout season.  Also defensemen Drew Zahradka will have a key role after seeing time as a sophomore.

What do you think the strength of your team will be this year?
One of the stengths of our team this year will be our chemistry on and off the field.  Also our defense with our strong defensive middie group will be solid.
