I don’t understand how Finnerty made this list and his teammate Cooper MacDonnell did not. Cooper has had more points than him every year, and has consistently outperformed Finnerty in big games against the likes of Georgetown and Syracuse. Also, there is the terrific performance against Navy (6G, 1A) in which MacDonnell completely carried Loyola on his back.
Billy Bitter is a Manhasset kid whose family moved to VT after he graduated
Unfortunately no Hudson Valley players on the men’s list but way to go Katrina Dowd from Yorktown for making the women’s list.
Great list of players. I’m also kinda suprised about Finnery tho…
Finnerty also grew up in Manhasset. He played youth and middle school lacrosse in Manhasset before attending Chaminade.
