It’s playoff time, gang. Or close to it, at least.

With all the seeds out, let’s check how our final regular-season rankings shake out.

1. Manhasset: Top-seeded Indians will face the winner of Thursday’s first-round Nassau Class C playoff game between No. 4 North Shore and No. 5 Friends Academy on May 28 in the semifinals. (Last week: No. 1)

2. Yorktown: After a showdown tonight at Wilton, ‘Huskers will set sights on their  28th sectional title in the last 30 years. But who’s counting? (Last week: No. 2)

3. West Islip: Lions, touted as “New York’s Newest High School Empire” are coverboys of the latest issue of Inside Lacrosse Magazine. (Last week: No. 3)

4. St. Anthony’s: Friars are eyeing Tuesday’s CHSAA finals at Mitchell Field in Hempstead. (Last week: No. 4)

5. Ridgefield: Tigers energized by first win over Darien since 1984. (Last week: No. 5)

6. Ward Melville: Possible rematch against West Islip in Suffolk County playoffs is intriguing to say the least. (Last week: No. 7)

7. Chaminade: Flyers hope to rediscover their midseason form — and quickly. (Last week: No. 6)

8. Garden City: Trojans, the top seed in the Class B in Nassau, play No. 16 Mepham in Wednesday’s opening round. (Last week: No. 8 )

9. Lynbrook: Third-seeded Lynbrook faces No. 14 Carey in opening round of Nassau Class B playoffs on Wednesday.( Last week: No. 9)

10. Brunswick: Bruins are eager to start playoff action. (Last week: No. 10)

11. Darien: Blue Wave’s strong effort in narrow loss to Ridgefield sets up a near certain — and intriguing — rematch in FCIAC playoffs.  (Last week: No. 11)

12. Shoreham-Wading River: The future is now for youthful Wildcats. (Last week: No. 12)

13. Cold Spring Harbor: Second-seeded Seahawks await first-round winner of game between No. 3 Seaford and No. 6 Locust Valley on May 28 in Nassau Class C semifinals. (Last week: No. 13)

14. Comsewogue:Regular-season win over Manhasset bodes well for extended postseason run.. (Last week: No. 14)

15. New Fairfield: Rebels’ last loss came in 2007 postseason. (Last week: Not ranked)

16. Rocky Point: Defending Long Island Class B champs are eyeing another long playoff run. (Last week: No. 16)

17. Farmingdale: Top-seeded Dalers face No. 8 Oceanside on Thursday in opening round of Class A Nassau playoffs. (Last week: No. 17)

18. Somers: Colgate-bound junior midfielder Erik Pfiffner has sparked the Tuskers with his strong all-around play down the stretch. (Last week: No. 18)

19. Fairfield Prep: Has won three straight after 11-10 loss to Bergen Catholic. (Last week: No. 18)

21. Baldwin: Fifth-seeded Baldwin faces No. 4 East Meadow in opening round of Nassau Class A playoffs on Saturday. (Last week: No. 21)

22. Lakeland/Panas: Rebels’ No. 2 seed in Class A playoffs means a title-game appearance against Yorktown seems likely. (Last week: No. 22)

23. John Jay: The four-time Class B sectional champion Indians are not the No. 1 seed in the sectionals for the first time in five years. (Last week: No. 23)

24. Whitman: Strong finish bodes well for the playoffs. (Last week: No. 24)

25. South Side: After hitting a few bumps in the road, South Side has wound up with an impressive No. 2 seed in Class B Nassau playoffs and face No. 15 Glen Cove in first round tomorrow. (Last week: Not ranked)

    Hey gang. In case you missed it, the Section 1 tournament pairings have been updated on our preexisting “Section 1, 8, 11 playoff schedule” thread. Section 8 pairings were posted Sunday. Section 11 classes B and C is wrapping up the regular season today.

    Town lost to Wilton 8 to 6 tonight…time to come back down to earth about yorktown…very good team…not the best in the area…
