A New Jersey showdown between Summit and Seton Hall Prep highlights today’s slate.

Summit (6-1) is looking to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season — 7-6 at Ridgefield (Conn.). Seton Hall Prep has been tested by a tough early slate that has included Delbarton, Chatham and Lawrenceville.

Also in New Jersey, Glen Ridge faces unbeaten Don Bosco Prep.

LL_Game-Day-CROPPED16In a prep showdown, 4-2 Trinity-Pawling (N.Y.) plays 4-1 Deerfield  (Mass.) in a neutral site game at Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, Conn. Also of note,  4-1 Hotchkiss (Conn.) plays at 2-4 Berkshire (Mass.)

On Long Island,  Garden City plays at Wantagh in a Nassau County Class B clash. Also of note, Lynbrook hosts Manhasset and Farmingdale plays at Hickskville. All are 4:30 p.m. starts.

In Suffolk, red-hot Smithtown East hosts at West Babylon, Half Hollow Hills East plays at Ward Melville and Hauppauge visits at West Islip.

In an intriguing crossover game, two-time New York Class C state semifinalist Bronxville hosts Suffolk County’s Westhampton Beach at 4:45 p.m.

Among 11 Section 1 games, Rockland rivals Nyack and Clarkstown North meet at 4:15 p.m. at North and North Rockland and Tappan Zee meet in another 4:15 p.m. game at TZ. At 4:30 p.m., Pearl River hosts Clarkstown South.

It’s a light day in Connecticut with a 7 p.m. game between Fairfield Prep and host Branford highlighting the slate.
