Bronxville’s rise to state prominence has been sparked by a steady stream of college-bound program.

The latest player from the two-time New York State Class C semifinalists to make a commitment, though, started his high school career at neighboring Eastchester.

But Aaron Srebnik landed with the Broncos prior to his junior season, this past season.

It didn’t take long for the 5-foot-11, 186-pound defenseman to fit right in.

The right-handed Srebnik, who is known for his strong stick skills, hopes the same thing happens when he makes the adjustment from high school to college.

Srebnik is headed for Division III power Haverford College.

A three-sport standout who also plays football and hockey, Srebnik is Bronxville’s third senior commit, joining attackman Jack Grass (Johns Hopkins) and midfielder Brewster Warble (Brown).

Now, here’s a Q&A with Aaron on his commitment.

What were the main factors in your decision?
Academics. I pulled decent interest from a few good schools, but Haverford’s academic rigor and fervor really grasped my attention and practically made me choose it. Haverford also has an Honor Code unlike most schools. It is a student run, living document that creates a great bond between the professors, the students and the school as a whole.

What other schools were you considering and what schools did you visit?
Towards the end of last varsity season, I was pretty interested in Union, and then as the summer progressed I got on to some other schools radar’s, including Kenyon, Dickinson, and Tufts.

What are your strengths as a player and how would you describe your style of play?
Depending on my opponent, I either like to be very aggressive and play a lot of body if I feel that I can kind of push my opponent around. Otherwise, I like to sit back and time up some nice takeaways.

What areas of your game have you been working to improve on?
My left hand. It’s an area ignored by a lot of defensemen, but in the clearing game, you can’t rely on just your strong side. I also like to always continue work on footwork. In my opinion, if you can play solid defense with your feet, which is entirely possible, putting a 60-inch pipe in your hands can make you deadly.

Who have been some of the biggest influences on you during your development as a player?
My biggest influences have been (Bronxville Head) Coach Tim Horgan, who really showed me how to take my game to the next level, Coach (Larry)  Petriccione, ex-head coach at Eastchester. (I moved to BHS prior to my junior year.) Coach Petriccione drilled the fundamentals of strong defense in me, and (2012 Eastchester graduate and Salisbury University freshman) Thomas Cirillo.

Tom has been a longtime family friend  that has helped me grow as a player since I started in the fourth grade. It was he who told me that I could seriously play at the collegiate level and thus sparked my interest in doing so.

What travel team did you play on and what were some of the big showcase events you participated in last summer?
This past summer, I played for Team Superstar Blue under Coach Vin D’Andraia. Our team went nearly undefeated losing only two out of our impossibly many games at Hotbeds. I really had most of my recruiting done on Team Superstar, but I still attended Peak 200 at Springfield College and the LT300 at Brown University.
