The Hudson Valley team that will be facing NYC tomorrow in the gold-medal game of the inaugural Empire State Cup.

It will be Hudson Valley vs. New York City at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 29 for the gold medal of the inaugural Empire State Cup.

Hudson Valley advanced to the game by beating Long Island 10-4 as Rye’s Chris Santangelo continued his red-hot play with three goals.

The other semifinal also resulted in a 10-4 final score as NYC beat Western.

Hudson Valley beat NYC 6-5 in round-robin play at the four-day event being played at Central Square outside Syracuse.

Western and Long Island meet in the 11 a.m. bronze-medal game. Central and Adirondack play for fifth place at 8:30 a.m.
