The scrimmages are winding down and now it’s time for the games to begin.

At the college level, at least.

It all starts at noon Saturday when Navy, which has won nine straight season opener, hosts VMI at Navy-Marine Corps Memroial Stadium in Annapolis to begin its 104th season of lacrosse. For more on the game, click here.

In other games of special interest, Army, fresh off an upset of Syracuse in the NCAA tournament, visits UMass. It will be the start of the Black Knights’ 94th season of lax. For more on that game, click here.

Duke begins defense of its national championship tomorrow when it hosts a Siena team that last year began the season with an overtime loss at Johns Hopkins. For more on the game, including info on live stat updates available, click here.

Duke crushes Siena 20-6. Zach Howell 7 goals 2 assists. Duke out shot them 47-20. Colgate @ Hofstra Tuesday the 15th 4:00pm. A lot of local flavor on display. Hofstra is a powerhouse and may be around Memorial Day.

This is cool. Much Appreciated. As someone else noted on another thread, a schedule of Week 1 college games was nowhere to be found except here.
