The crash occurred Friday around 6 p.m. when a Jeep Liberty lost control, struck a tree and caught fire on Route 107.
The injured lacrosse players are all 16 years old. They are: Grant Ciccarello of Redding, CT; Ryan Gombos of Easton, CT; and Janelle Pompea of Redding, CT.
Also suffering injuries were: Ryan Capozziello, 18, of Fairfield, CT; Allison Loder, 17, of Easton, CT; and Thomas Bull, 18 of Fairfield, CT.
