When the final horn sounds around 9 p.m. on Saturday night at Kean University, the New Jersey Tournament of Championship title game will have ended.

The end of that game will also mark the end of an eventful — and unforgettable — 2016 season of tristate varsity boys lacrosse.

Championship Day Saturday features five teams trying to repeat as champions: Cold Spring Harbor and Victor in New York and Darien, New Canaan and St. Joseph’s in Connecticut. Darien and St. Joe’s hope to three-peat.

New York state finals at Middletown High School

Class B, Yorktown vs. Jamesville-DeWitt, 11 a.m.

Class C, Cold Spring Harbor vs. Penn Yan, 1:30 p.m.

Class A, Ward Melville vs. Victor, 4 p.m.

Connecticut state finals, at Brien McMahon HS, Norwalk

Class L, No. 1 Darien vs. No.  2 Simsbury, 1 p.m.

Class M, No. 1 New Canaan vs. No. 6 Daniel Hand, 3:30 p.m.

Class S, No. 18 St. Joseph vs. No. 1 Somers, 10:30 a.m.

New Jersey Tournament of Champions at Kean University, final

No. 2 Delbarton vs. No. 4 Pingry, 7:30 p.m.
