The Predators’ elite club lacrosse program has quickly established a reputation for providing the area’s “next generation” in its homebase of Westchester, as well as Fairfield and the entire tristate area, an unrivaled combination of world-class coaching, recruiting exposure and a dynamic culture.

predators1The “Predator Way” will be on display — and there will be former Division I collegiate lacrosse stars all over the field — when the Predators hold their inaugural summer camp at Port Chester Middle School in the heart of Westchester County and bordering Fairfield County July 13-16.

In addition to a coaching staff that features eight former D-I standouts, three of today’s lacrosse greats will also be appearing: John Ranagan (Team USA), Ty Thompson (Iroquois Nation) and JoJo Marasco (Team USA).

The camp is for boys entering grades four through eight and players of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.

The Prederators have sent numerous student-athletes to some of the finest colleges in the country and continue to do so as player development and skills enhancement is their main priority.

Bronxville High School senior attackman Henry Grass, regarded as the best all-around varsity player in the Hudson Valley, is headed to Johns Hopkins and will be among the coaches at the camp.

“It’s great to come full circle with the Preds first as a player and now as a coach,” Grass said. “The unique coaching style my Pred teammates and I had every time we stepped on the field has certainly prepared me to compete with nation’s best when I attend Johns Hopkins in September.

“Now as a Predators coach, I am really looking forward to the opportunity to pass along what I’ve learned over the years to the younger players in the area.

“The camp staff that the directors have compiled is second to none and I am fortunate that I have the chance to be a part of it.”

Grass is among several Division I-bound standouts now standing out in Section 1, which includes Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Dutchess counties. Others include:
