Syracuse University has indefinitely suspended midfielder Hayes McGinley after the redshirt freshman from Bentleyville, Ohio was involved in a fight in which he allegedly hit both a man and woman.
The 20-year-old McGinley was arrested just before midnight on March 14 on charges of punching a 29-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman in the face on Marshall Street, Syracuse Police said in a news release.
The photo at left was released by Syracuse Police after McGinley’s arrest.
McGinley was reportedly left unconscious after being punched by a bystander who saw him hit the woman, according to this report.
