Darien and Yorktown renew their CT/NY rivalry and will play for the Tom Lener Memorial Cup when the Blue Wave, one of the few remaining unbeaten teams in the tristate at 10-0, visit Charlie Murphy Field for a 7 p.m. game.

LL2014HSGAMEDAYYorktown is looking for the kind of signature win it recorded earlier this season when it dealt Chaminade (NY) its first loss.

Speaking of ‘Nade, it’s Round 2 of St. Anthony’s/Chaminade and St. A’s will look to avenge for an overtime loss at Chaminade when it hosts the Flyers at 7 p.m.

Two-time Section 1 (NY) Class C champion Bronxville has been tested by a tough schedule that includes Bridgewater-Raritan (NJ), Garden City (NY) and Sachem North (NY). The Broncos face their first Connecticut opponent when they take on red-hot Greenwich, which is coming off a 12-6 win over Chaminade. Game is 6 p.m. at Greenwich’s Cardinal Stadium.

A bit further north on I-95 in Connecticut, Brien McMahon, which is off to an unbeaten start, hosts St. Joseph-Trumbull in a 7 p.m. game.

Section 1 neighboring rivals Fox Lane and Horace Greeley renew their rivalry in a game at Greeley. Both teams have quality wins on their resumes this season. Fox Lane has beaten 2013 Connecticut state finalist Staples, as well as Section 1 contender Brewster. Greeley has a win over Section 1 Class A perennial champion and championship contender Lakeland/Panas.

There’s a big battle between Suffolk (NY) Division 1 contenders as Half Hollow Hills West visits Ward Melville, which just snapped West Islip’s eight-game win streak with an OT win.

In the Bergen County playoffs, unbeaten Bergen Catholic faces Ramapo. The winner plays in Saturday’s title game.

Also of note:

West Islip (NY) at Half Hollow Hills East (NY)

Connetquot (NY) at Hauppauge (NY)

Clarkstown South (NY) at North Rockland (NY)
