Nick DelBene is the one.

Yorktown, among the most renowned and successful varsity programs from sea to shining sea, has its first Class of 2015 commit.

Towson University, meanwhile, has its second tristate rising junior verbal.

DelBene gave a verbal to Towson yesterday, a commitment first reported when it was made by Joe Lombardi on LaxLessons.com’s Lacrosse Insider section.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound lefty midfielder has a strong and accurate shot, including on the run, to go along with good field vision.

The Tigers’ first 2015 commit from the nation’s No. 1 hotbed for lacrosse, the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut tristate region, came when another Hudson Valley standout, Brendan Sunday, an attack/midfielder from Arlington High School (N.Y.), committed to the Tigers in February.
