West Genesee has won a New York record 15 state titles 15 championships, but last took a title in 2008.

Ward Melville has won seven state crowns, but hasn’t won one since 2000.

But on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Rochester, the teams will renew their rivalry, meeting for the sixth time for the state championship in a tripleheader at St. John Fisher College.
