    Nisky 12-10 over GC
    Ward Melville. 12-5 over Shen
    Bville. 9-7 over SWR

Last time they played Bville looked intimidated, tentative from the start. The kids are a year older, better, and have played a much tougher schedule ( except the last 2 games). They have good reason to be taking the field feeling that they can/WILL win this one. Finesse , skill, D1 recruits are great but you know SWR is lazered on to getting all the ground balls and Bville has to play very aggressive and win those battles.

Good stuff slacrosse! I have the following:

Nisky by 3 or more over GC
      Ward Melville no contest
SWR 13-10 or more, just looking at the MSG top 20 no Bville anywhere. Bville running it up on Red Hook will come back to bite them.

Last note, congrats to all Town players great season tough loss to Nisky. One of the better Town teams in a couple of years.

  2. LI101387 says:

Ward Melville 14, Shenendehowa 3- Expect to see the WM reserves about halfway through the 3rd quarter, they’re playing at such a high level now, I don’t see anyone in A stopping them. Deep, balanced on both sides of the ball and hungry for an elusive title.

NIskayuna 9, Garden City 8- this will be the best semifinal in any class. Really intriguing bc Garden City’s vaunted defense hasn’t seen anything quite like Nisky…but by the same token Nisky’s powerful offense hasn’t seen a defense as good as GC’s.

Shoreham-Wading River 14, Bronxville 8- SWR’s offense is firing on all cylinders behind Rotanz and Bray and they are a heartbreaking OT loss to GC away from behind undefeated right now. Bronxville has some good talent but they aren’t deep and they’ve struggled mightily against top-end competition. WIll be closer than last year but SWR wins going away.

      Nice analysis.
I’m upping the WM margin to 14-5

I’ll stay with Bville winning but as SWR will be fighting for GB’s right off the bus, Bville better play really aggressive and win enough of these battles to give their O chances to score
