  1. Bear says:

Brewster at Arlington should be a great game today. One or two goal game either way. Gonna be intense from start to finish.

  2. Indian J says:

If St, Ignatius were to beat Chaminade, then that would be a shot heard round the lacrosse world now wouldn’t it ? Torrey Pines beat Garden City in 2004, I believe, but that wasn’t a powerful Garden City squad as for Garden City squads go. This is indeed a powerful Chaminade team and Ignatius appears to be the class of California.

    Nade 10 St. Ignatius 7

    St. A’s 12 Iona Prep 7

Jay 9 L/P 7 Jay will struggle on occasion without Beck for a little while longer

  3. Pops says:

Huge game for the admirals as they have let to 3 goal leads slip in the 2nd half with sloppy play, unforced turnovers and seem to be very skilled at hitting goalies in the head and chest(10 times in the Hen Hud game). Today will test their wills and see if they are indeed a top 10 team. Love the Chaminade match up as well as Greeley-fox lane with both teams appearing to be up and down, but equally solid teams. I am anxious to see where LP is today against Jay? Are they getting better?

  4. sec112 says:

    Yorktown vs. Chaminade.

Sets up a great Saturday afternoon! These two powerhouses have been going at it for years. I cant remember the last time Yorktown lost at home but Chaminade is the #2 team in the country for a reason…

    Predictions???

    Yorktown – 11
    Chaminade – 10 (OT)

    • Indian J says:

Town lost at home last season to Wilton 12-11. It’s not 1991-93, Town losses now… and….

If Town wins Saturday it would be considered something of an upset, but …..

I think they can do it. They have the offense to do it that’s for sure.

It would be a huge win for the program- who hasn’t showed signs of being this dominant in a while. It would spiritually undo the Shen loss and poise them for a legit shot at a state title. If they can win this, they could certainly have more than just a shot with Nisky and Garden City logically speaking. It’s a long season though and there are still more games to be played regardless of what happens on Saturday.

  5. old rugger says:
