St. Anthony’s has won four straight CHSAA Dvision AAA championships.

In each of the last two seasons, St. Anthony’s fell to the Flyers in both regular-season meetings before winning the decisive Game 3 championship game.

We should have a better idea in a few hours. The Friars and Flyers play Round 1 at 4:15 p.m. at Chaminade High School. You can watch the game on MSGVarsity.com.  The replay of the game will air Friday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. on MSG Varsity Channel 14 (Optimum).

In an intriguing N.J. vs. N.Y. clash, two-time Garden State Tournament of Champions winner Bridgewater-Raritan visits two-time New York Class C state semifinalist Bronxville at 4:45 p.m.

Section 1 (N.Y.) matchups include White Plains at Clarkstown South, Pelham at New Rochelle, Scarsdale at Sleepy Hollow, Hastings at Eastchester and Suffern at Tappan Zee.

Among 12 Suffolk County (N.Y.) matchups, Mount Sinai visits Rocky Point at 4:30 p.m.

The Nassau slate also has 12 games, including Cold Spring Harbor at Oyster Bay at 4:15 p.m.

In the prep ranks, Brunswick hosts Taft at 3:30 p.m.

    James Roberts has three goals, Ryan Lukacovic has two form the Flyers. Greg Galligan led St. A’s with three.
