When it comes to Nassau County (Section 8/N.Y.) boys lacrosse, the Manhasset-Cold Spring Harbor rivalry is up there among the best.

The teams renew acquaintances today at 7 p.m. at CSH.

In the lone Section 1 game on the slate, neighboring schools Brewster and North Salem meet in a 4:30 p.m. game at North Salem.

Also today, New Jersey power Immaculata visits St. Anthony’s in a 7 p.m. start.

Speaking of the Garden State, New Jersey starts its regular season with a full slate of games today, including a 4 p.m. clash between St. Joseph’s of Metuchen and host Old Bridge 4:30 p.m. contests between visiting Summit and Mendham and Bergen Catholic and host Northern Highlands. Ridge hosts Somerville at 4:45 p.m.
