Monday, March 4 marks the official start of varsity practice for Long Island. Within the next two weeks, all programs from the nation’s No. 1 hotbed for lacrosse, the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut tristate region, will have started too.

While the focus is now on the soon-to-start season, there were some big recruitment commitments last week.

That is among the topics in Joe Lombardi’s latest column for InsideLacrosse.com, along with the latest batch of preseason player perspectives.
