The Warrior 40 is coming soon, and the nation’s No. 1 hotbed for lacrosse will be well-represented.

The three-day event will be Aug. 13-15 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.

Seven players from the tristate region will be competing in the event, which features current high school players.

Here’s the breakdown. There will be six players from Long Island (Smithtown East goaltender Brian Balkam, Chaminade defenseman Brian Dunne, Chaminade goaltender Danny Fowler, Chaminade attackman Ryan Lukacovic, Garden City attackman Justin Guterding and Shoreham-Wading River attackman Tim Rotanz), one player from the Hudson Valley (John Jay defenseman Jack Lambert) and one from New Jersey (Delbarton defenseman Will Reynolds).

You can check out the roster here.

The players who will be playing in Colorado were selected from an initial Watch List you can view here.
