Bard College has a new head coach and it’s former John Jay standout Tucker Kear.
Kear went on to play collegiately at UMass before transferring to Butler.
Kear’s father, Bob, founded the varsity lacrosse program at John Jay in 1979. His brother, Chris, is head coach at Pleasantville, where Bob Kear is his assistant. Another brother, Casey, is an assistant coach at Franklin & Marshall.
Tucker Kear will also serve as assistant athletic director at Bard, which is located in Annandale-on-Hudson in New York’s Hudson Valley.
