Tryouts for the Empire State Cup, an inaugural event debuting this summer modeled after the Empire State Games, are upcoming.

Tryouts for the Hudson Valley and Long Island are as follows:

Hudson Valley: June 21, 4 p.m., Somers High School

Long Island: June 15, 5 p.m., Half Hollow Hills East High School

The event is scheduled for July 26-29 in Syracuse.
