John Jay’s all-time leading scorer in girls lacrosse, Casey Bocklet (pictured above), will be joined by two highly renowned teammates from the national power Northwestern University women’s lacrosse team for a special clinic/workout at John Jay High School in Cross River, N.Y., on Sunday, Dec. 11.

West Bablyon’s Shannon Smith, the 2011 Tewaaraton winner as NCAA women’s lacrosse player of the year, and goaltender Bridget Bianco of Moorestown, N.J., a high school Under Armour All-American, will team up with Bocklet in the program, called “Wildcat Workout,” and presented by Moonlight Lacrosse. The day starts at 10:45 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. It is open to girls players from grades 5-12.

The schedule is as follows:

Grades 5 and 6 –  10:45 to 12:15 p.m.
Grades 7 and 8 – 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Grades 9 and 10 – 2:15 to 3:45 p.m.
Grades 11 and 12 – 4 to 5 p.m.

John Jay will also be the host site for a clinic for boys players, focusing on offensive skills, and featuring two former two-time high school All-Americans now playing at two of the nation’s top men’s college programs, the following Sunday, Dec. 18.

Former John Jay attackman Chris Bocklet (University of Virginia) and former Somers attackman/midfielder JoJo Marasco (Syracuse University) will be holding that clinic, called “Offensive University,” for boys in grades 5-12.

The schedule is as follows:

Grades 7 and 8 –  11 to 12:20 p.m.
Grades 9-12 – 12:30 to 1:50 p.m.
Grades 3 and 4 – 2 to 3:20 p.m.
Grades 5 and 6 – 3:30 to 4:50 p.m.
