We just reviewed a busy week for commitments among members of the Class of 2013.

For a recap, be sure to check out our weekly column on lax in the tristate for InsideLacrosse.com.

Slowly the number of commitments among current sophomores is rising.

Earlier today, I received word of the latest.

Christian Zawadzki of Smithtown West (pictured above) verbally committed to Maryland after seriously considering North Carolina, Virginia and Pen State.

A strong two-way middie with good quickness and speed, Zawadzki also plays basketball and football for the Bulls.

He was a member of West’s varsity squad as a freshman last year, before attending Jake Reed Nike Blue Chip and Champ Camp.

Be sure to check back for more on Christian’s commitment.
