A total of 15 players from the nation’s No. 1 hotbed for lacrosse, the Hudson Valley/Long Island/Connecticut region, have been selected to play for the North team at the sixth annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic.

The game, which will be broadcast on ESPNU, is set for Saturday, July 2 at 8 p.m. at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Md.

In addition to the marquee game for graduating seniors, there will also be an Underclass Tournament. And once again,the region will be well-represented.

Play in the Underclass tourney starts on Friday, July 1 at noon and ends Sunday, July 3 at 3:15 p.m. with the championship game. For the complete schedule, click here.

Finally, congratulations to the Long Island Express U11A and U15 AA teams, who both won their age-group titles at the SuperSlam Tournament held at the Westtown School and Episcopal Academy in Thornton, Pa.

The LIE U11A team beat Freedom Lacrosse 8-2 while the LIE U15AA squad downed TriState Black 7-3.
